Portrait:

Capture the Essence of a Person.

Portrait photography is an art in itself, because it is not so much about depicting a face, but about capturing a person’s entire being for eternity.

A good portrait photo is like an onion, which consists of many layers and a good portrait photo always shows new layers the longer it is looked at. This is why I like portrait photograpy. A technically perfect photograph of a person is far from being a portrait. It needs to capture the essence of a person.

“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.” “It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.” “The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”.”
